The Quad at Discovery gets a taste—Dawson Company, B&G and Lochinvar

The Quad at Discovery is Irvine Company’s latest offering of next-gen office buildings. The project consists of two three-story 79,200 SF and two four-story 105,600 SF office buildings nestled within 1.6 acres of outdoor work space. The project boasts a new modern work environment that features modern architecture with coastal California lifestyle amenities, including floor-to-ceiling glass and aluminum curtain walls for superior natural light and energy efficiency, sliding entry doors connecting indoor-outdoor workspaces, and advanced infrastructure to promote technology and innovation.

The Quad includes two Irvine Company signature amenities: KINETIC, which offers a unique, integrated approach to workplace wellness featuring a private state-of-the-art fitness center, group fitness, and a bike share program; and The Commons, a large open-air space with a Wi-Fi-enabled outdoor living room, perfect for meetings, team-building events, or lunch breaks.

The project has been recognized as Designed to Earn the ENERGY STAR by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Designed to Earn the ENERGY STAR projects meet strict energy efficiency design targets and are intended to create fewer greenhouse gas emissions and save money on energy bills over the lifetime of the building.

Dawson Company offered full support, beginning with the consulting engineer and ending with the installing contractor. On the business development side, Dawson Company’s Eric Decker was pleased to assist tk1sc Collaborative, the MEP consulting engineer, to fine tune hydronic equipment selections and give overall hydronic system input.
